WVACVPR was formed by healthcare professionals in the area of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation. The West Virginia state affiliation of the AACVPR was established in 1990 and has been growing since. The 1st annual WVACVPR conference started in 1993 and continues each year to this day. Each year new speakers, new ideas, and updated guidelines are brought to the table. One thing that never changes….It is all about the patient…and empowering them to improve their health!!!
